ASUS ROG 7 gaming phone is likely to be introduced with a 165Hz display and 16GB of RAM.
The complete technical specifications of the next standard model of Asus gaming flagship phone, known as ROG Phone 7, have been revealed before its official launch.
Earlier this month, two new Asus phones with model numbers ASUS_AI2205_A and ASUS_AI2205_B were spotted on the Chinese 3C website. These two products are expected to enter the market as ROG Phone 7 and ROG Phone 7 Ultimate. Today, more accurate and complete information about the standard model of these phones has been revealed by Digital Chat Station.
According to the new information, the ASUS ROG Phone 7 will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED E4 display with Full HD Plus resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. In addition, we expect this product to be equipped with an under-display fingerprint sensor.
According to Geekbench data, the ROG Phone 7 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and will be available with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
By default, the ROG Phone 7 series will run Android 13 with the ROG UI user interface. The standard model of this phone will feature a 32-megapixel selfie camera, and its rear camera system will include a 50-megapixel main camera with the IMX766 sensor, an ultra-wide 13-megapixel camera, and a 5-megapixel camera.
Among other expected features of ROG Phone 7, mention can be made of a 6000 mAh battery with support for 65 watt fast charging. The device will be equipped with an IP54 certified water and dust resistant body and will weigh 240 grams. Some rumors suggest that the base model of this smartphone will be priced at around $580.
According to Gizmochina, Asus will introduce ROG Phone 7 gaming smartphones on April 13 (April 24) for various markets, including the United States, China, Taiwan and India. We expect this product to be available in both standard and pro versions.
