Full specifications of Motorola’s flagship phones Edge 40 and Edge 40 Pro have been revealed.
Motorola will release the global version of its flagship phones, called the Edge 40 series, with high-end specifications to compete with the top ones in the market.
According to new information, the Motorola Edge 40 Pro will actually be the global version of the Moto X40. This means that the device in question will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixel resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
According to GSMArena, the Motorola Edge 40 Pro will be equipped with a 4,600mAh battery with support for 125W fast charging and 15W wireless charging. This smartphone will also feature a 50-megapixel main camera with a 1/1.5-inch sensor and an ultra-wide 50-megapixel camera with macro shooting capabilities. The front camera of this product is also 60 megapixels.
On the other hand, the Motorola Edge 40 will be equipped with a 6.55-inch pOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixel resolution at 144Hz refresh rate, Dimensity 8020 chip, 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 128 or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
One of the other specifications of Motorola Edge 40 is the main 50-megapixel camera, similar to the Pro model. This device will also be equipped with a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 32-megapixel selfie camera. This phone will be powered by a 4400 mAh battery, 68 watt wired charging, and 15 watt wireless charging. It is worth mentioning that both the standard and Pro models of Motorola Edge 40 will be released with IP68 certification, which means they are resistant to water and dust penetration.
Moto Edge 40 will be available in four colors: black, green, blue, and pink. The Pro model of this phone will also be available in two colors with an aluminum frame and a glass body with Gorilla Glass and Victus coating on both sides.
