The Redmi Note 12 Turbo with an OLED 120Hz display, SD 7+ Gen 2 processor, and reasonable price has been unveiled
Redmi Note 12 Turbo is a mid-range, affordable smartphone with a large 120Hz display, triple camera, and uses the SD 7+ Gen 2 processor.
Redmi, a subsidiary brand of Xiaomi, as promised earlier, unveiled the latest smartphone in the Note 12 family. The Redmi Note 12 Turbo has powerful hardware and uses modern design.
The latest Redmi device is considered the world’s first smartphone with the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor and is equipped with three cameras on the back panel.
According to Gizmochina, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo smartphone has a 6.67-inch 12-bit OLED display with Full HD Plus resolution and a brightness of 1,000 nits. This display has a refresh rate of 120Hz, covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space, and supports Dolby Vision and +HDR10 standards.
According to Redmi, the Note 12 Turbo has a screen-to-body ratio of 93.45%. In official renders, a very thin border can be seen around the display. The Redmi Note 12 Turbo has a strong 9-layer body.
Redmi Note 12 Turbo’s back panel hosts three separate cameras. The primary camera has a 64-megapixel sensor and optical stabilization (OIS), the second camera has an eight-megapixel sensor and an ultra-wide lens, and the third camera is equipped with a two-megapixel sensor and macro lens. On top of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo display, we see a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Turbo is equipped with a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor. This mid-range, high-performance processor provides a great experience of the latest generation and injects considerable processing power into devices. Redmi Note 12 Turbo is equipped with 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and a terabyte UFS 3.1 storage.
Xiaomi says that Redmi Note 12 Turbo is equipped with a cooling system consisting of a 3,725 mm steam chamber to dissipate heat generated by the processor and other components. Redmi Note 12 Turbo uses a 5,000 mAh battery with 67-watt power and is available with MIUI 14 user interface based on Android 13 operating system.
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo is equipped with 5G and WiFi-6 and Bluetooth 5.3 and NFC, and unlike most modern phones, it uses a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
The new mid-range Redmi has a base config with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage for ¥1,999 (approximately $290). This phone comes in black, blue and white.
